The Flatiron peak of the Superstition Mountains rises in the background as seen through the canyon walls of Saguaro Lake. The Flatiron peak might not be all that impressive by Colorado or Montana Standards (It’s not even in the top 50 peaks here in Arizona), but its impressive form towers above our relatively flat desert and can be seen for miles….ten to be exact in the case of this photo.
