As mentioned in my last post I spent last weekend on the road visiting a friend in Denver with another friend from Phoenix. We all worked in the same Emergency Room and were on the Trauma Team together and it was wonderful to get together to catch up. We made the most of the weekend traveling to Pikes Peak, various parks, and eating amazing food (both homemade and small cafe style). Of the places we visited Daniels Park was my favorite, in part because we made it to the park for sunset and because the park provides an almost entirely uninhibited view of the the nearby mountains.
