This photo was taken hours before the large storm blew through Phoenix last week (view photos from that storm here). At the far end of the roadway in the picture you can see the west end of Saguaro Lake which then feeds into the Salt River and popular tubing spot. A final note of interest, this photo was taken from the exact same location as my post from 9.1.2019……just a different altitude.
