This chapel is a movie prop from the 1969 Elvis Presley movie Charo! This in turn sits on property known as Apacheland, an old movie set that has hosted numerous westerns and movies throughout the years. The church has been rebuilt and reconstructed multiple times after surviving two fires and being moved piece by piece to it’s current location along Highway 88. As seen it sits at the base of the Superstition Mountains and is still used today as an actual wedding chapel.
