The Columbia River Gorge is a canyon that stretches on for 80 miles as it channels its way through the Cascade Range. The gorge and river form a natural border between Oregon and Washington. This photo was taken on the Oregon side of the river, just down the roadway from Multnomah Falls. The overcast and gray skies still allowed us some amazingly beautiful fall views including this one of clouds crossing the face of a ridgeline two miles away.
